Your membership with Loyola Credit Union begins with a minimum deposit of $25 into your basic savings account. Because every member owns a share of the credit union, it is also called a “share savings” account, and is required for a member to be eligible for all of the Credit Union’s services.
You must maintain this balance of $25 in order to retain your membership. If you leave Loyola or its affiliates, you may take your membership with you if it has been opened for at least three months of membership.
If you decide you no longer want to maintain your membership, this initial deposit will be refunded to you minus any fees incurred.
Your share accounts are federally insured by NCUA up to $250,000, so this is a great place to start your relationship with Loyola Credit Union and watch your money grow.
